It is always important to hydrate along with Vitamin C intake. It is believed that the upper limit of zinc for adults is at 40mg/day. It appears that zinc and vitamin C have a synergistic effect on the immune response. We want to keep our zinc intake to around 20 to 30mg daily dose maximum since at near 50mg/day dosage zinc has been known to cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and a lowered immune response. *
